Just Traffic ... for your on-line business

Hello!

As I promise long time ago, I am trying to keep you informed and up-to-date with products and techniques which will hello you on any on-line business you have.

Agenda for to-day:

  1. A remainder about "7 Days of Thanksgiving eBooks Firesale!", which it will run only until 30 Nov. 11.59 PM!
  2. How to generate Massive Traffic and Search Engine Rankings in as little as 24 to 48 hours!
  3. Autopilot Traffic Machine!

1. The "7 Days of Thanksgiving eBooks Firesale!", this is the link you need to discover the power of Internet!:

http://tinyurl.com/y2cldn

2. How to generate Massive Traffic and Search Engine Rankings in as little as 24 to 48 hours!

Three Internet marketers I know have struck gold and I can't keep it quiet any longer.

They stumbled on a formula that uses Intenet video to generate UNBELIEVABLE TRAFFIC AND SEARCH ENGINE RANKINGS--in as little as 24 to 48 hours!
I know it's hard to believe but they have the proof.
In fact, one top Internet marketer just used their little known but highly effective techniques to capture the ENTIRE FIRST PAGE OF GOOGLE RESULTS for his targeted keyword phrase.

How did he do it? I want to let you in on it, too.
Go here to get ahold of three items that will blow you away. (They're FREE.)
http://tinyurl.com/yje54t

  • The first item is a Special eReport called 'How to Generate Massive Traffic and Unexpected Search Engine Results with Internet Video.'
  • Number two is a valuable guide: 'The Free Video Hosting Web Site Directory.' It's an ebook packed with reviews, tips and insights to more than 30 of the top Intenet video hosting sites.
  • Item three is access to a very insightful hour-long online Webinar video called 'Building Massive Traffic.'

Just go here, sign up and they will email the fr^ee items to you:
http://tinyurl.com/yje54t

Then let me know if you're as ready to start uploading videos as I am.

P.S. One more thing...here's what these three guys are up to. It's so incredible I can hardly keep a lid on it.
They've developed a service called TRAFFIC GEYSER that uploads a video to the top 15 to 30 video hosting sites for you with the click of one button.
This has two MAJOR BENEFITS if you're selling anything online or building a subscription base:

  • WEBSITE TRAFFIC (and I mean the kind of traffic a top 30 Google ranking brings you) and
  • it SAVES YOU HUNDREDS OF HOURS of time--even pays for itself with just one upload.

See, without Traffic Geyser, you'd have to upload your videos manually to each site in order to get the traffic and search ranking benefits. It could take you EIGHT HOURS TO UPLOAD JUST ONE VIDEO to 15 sites! But it's so effective at generating traffic, some Internet marketers have full time people on staff just to upload videos--that's how time-intensive it is.
Here's the BEST PART--you can get the same benefits WITH AUDIO. Just sign up for those three gifts and they'll tell you all about it.

Here's the link again:
http://tinyurl.com/yje54t

3. Autopilot Traffic Machine!

Here's your chance to lay your hot little hands on a system that:

  • Increases your traffic by a whopping 927%
  • Allows you to generate traffic 24/7 absolutely FREE!
  • Makes you kick butt profit in the traffic generation process

Heck, the creators of this system actually generated over 1.57 unique million visitors to their website!
See the proof here:

http://tinyurl.com/yf4egm

This system was designed specifically to help you over the traffic generation dilemma and show you point-blank how to target hungry net surfers that are interested in what you have to offer...
The days of yanking your hair out trying to figure out how to get the RIGHT PEOPLE to come to your website or see your products are overÂ…

7 Days of Thanksgiving Firesale! Unite a Soldier's Family!

Seven Days Thanksgiving Firesale,
Help to Unite a Soldier and his Family for Christmas!

Happy Turkey Day! it is Nov 23, 2006 "Thanksgiving Day in U.S.A."

Are you getting ready for the holidays coming up in December?
Holiday time is a great time for families to get together. Sometimes that is not possible because often family members live far apart from each other.

Military families are having an even harder time of it nowadays with so many brave men and women serving their country in far away lands. It can be really hard on young couples especially when they have children.

I want to tell you how you can help one young Soldier and his family this Holiday Season and get some great deals and some gifts for yourself at the same time.
We all like WIN/WIN Opportunities... Ya?
Jump to web page:

http://tinyurl.com/y2cldn

My friend Henry Griner has put together his:
--- Seven Days of Thanksgiving Firesale ---
to raise money so his family can get together for a Family Christmas with his son Nate before he is deployed to Afghanistan in early January of next year.

Henry's son has a wife and young baby girl named Zarah. They live in Germany where Nate has been serving in the US Army for the past three years.

To raise money for Henry, his wife and their 13 year old son to travel to Germany (costs about $7000!), he has put together a great package of products plus some additional bonus items that I'm sure you will find useful. But you will need to hurry or you may miss out on all of it.
Be sure you visit the web page where Henry has photos of his son Nate and his wife Jasmine and their little girl Zarah. You can even send Zarah an email.

See the family here:

Go now before time passes and the sale is over.
Just say, I want to help out Henry and his Soldier!

Wishing you a Happy Holiday Season.

How to Write Killer Email Promos That Get Results!

I present to you:
Michael Rasmussen's "Email Promos Exposed" Video Series
which I use it myself and highly recommend!

Have you ever been faced with the task of having to write an email promotion to your list, and then realized that you didn't know what to say or how to say it?

Michael Rasmussen's new video course "Email Promos Exposed" promises to solve that problem for you by walking you through the actual process of creating killer email promos step-by-step.

*************************************************
If you're in a hurry, just go ahead visit this URL to get instant free access to these videos:

http://tinyurl.com/yl5vrj
*************************************************

I decided to see if Michael's videos live up to their promise by trying them out myself. Here's what I found:

*************************************************
Overall Quality
*************************************************
The first thing I noticed when I opened up the first video was the stunning production quality.
He used Camtasia Studio for the production, which is now the industry standard for creating high-quality screen capture video products. The audio is near studio quality, and the graphics are very professional. These videos were made by someone who KNOWS what he's doing. Well done!

I also liked how Michael divided the videos up by section, and then again by sub-section. For example, one video is all about the subject line, and then there are different parts of that video that each cover a certain area of crafting a killer subject line.

Now let's move onto...

*************************************************
THE ACTUAL VIDEOS
*************************************************
Here's a brief summary of each video. Obviously it's impossible to list every single thing here, but I want you to get a feel for what each one covered, and how well it covered it.

*************************************************
If you're in a hurry, just go ahead visit this URL to get instant free access to these videos:

http://tinyurl.com/yl5vrj
*************************************************

VIDEO 1 - INTRODUCTION

This video served as an introduction to the whole course. You get to see a picture of Michael in his every day life, and he establishes his credibility right up front by talking about some of his massive successes online. He even provides proof of credibility by displaying two checks in the amount of $50,000 and $25,000 which prove that, when it comes to the subject of making money with email promos, he knows his stuff.

This is a good lesson for anyone to get. When ever you're teaching people how to do something, it's good to establish your credibility up front, so that there's no doubt about whether or not you're equalified to talk about the subject. Most product developers either skip or minimize this step.

VIDEO 2 - BEFORE YOU WRITE THE PROMO

This video talks about some things that no other marketer has bothered to mention. You'll learn things like:
* The mind set you need in order to write a killer promo
* The different tools you need before you get started
* How to keep your emails laser-focused
* How to create an outline that practically writes the email for you.

This was a fantastic video, and did a good job of kicking things off.

VIDEO 3 - THE SUBJECT LINE

I liked this video, because it talked about one of MY biggest weaknesses when it comes to writing email promise is the subject line. The subject line is a confusing topic, because nobody's 100% sure what the best tactics are.

Michael breaks it down, and reveals:

* The biggest secret for writing a subject line that makes people insanely curious.
* Techniques for personalizing the subject line.
* Mistakes to avoid when using personalization.

I was surprised to find that I was making some of the mistakes that Michael mentioned in this video, but now I know better.

VIDEO 4 - THE OPENING

This is where a lot of people slack off when writing their emails. Michael talks about how important it is to create an opening that is conversational, and then reveals techniques and examples on how to do that.

He also reveals:

* How to get people to keep reading your email once they've opened it.
* How to make your opening interesting.
* Mistakes to avoid when creating your first few paragraphs.

VIDEO 5 - THE BODY COPY

This is one of the "meatiest" portions of the course, because it reveals techniques that are not widely discussed on the forums, blogs, and in most eBooks. He talks about the importance of keeping your body copy tight and relevant, and then reveals how you can do that.
You'll also learn:

* How to write powerful bullets that make people curious and want to find out more.
* Simple formatting tricks for making your body copy easy to read.
* The secret of "bucket brigade copy" and how to use it in your email promos to force people to keep reading.

VIDEO 6 - THE CALL TO ACTION

This is where a lot of people wimp out in their email promos. They start out strong, but when it comes time to ask the reader to click the link and take action, they don't know what to say.

Michael talks about some of his favorite techniques for making that happen, and also reveals:
* The "magic question" to ask yourself that will make your close much more powerful.
* The secret of the "unanswered question" and why handling this is a surefire way to get people to act right away.
* The structure of a powerful close.
* Mistakes people make when creating their close.

VIDEO 7 - CREATING AN EFFECTIVE P.S.

Some people say that the P.S. is one of the most important parts of the email, because it is often the one thing that gets people to click the link at the end.
In this video, Michael talks about:

* Why you should including a P.S. at the end of your email.
* The 4 different kinds of P.S.'s you can use (this section was a real eye-opener for me).

VIDEO 8 - COMMON MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE

I loved this video, because it showed me some mistakes that I was making that I wasn't even aware of. Unless you're a seasoned pro, you're probably guilty of some of the things that Michael talks about in this video as well, and that's why it's so valuable. I've shaved years off my learning curve, because now I can avoid some of the costly mistakes that I was bound to make in the learning process.

VIDEO 9 - HOW TO CREATE FOLLOW-UP EMAIL PROMOTIONS

This video alone is going to make me a lot of money. Why? Because I used to only send out one email promo for each affiliate promotion I was doing. Michael showed me in this video how important it is to send a follow-up promotion, and he showed me exactly how to do it.
He covered things like:

* The psychology of follow-up email promo's.
* The 2 main types of follow-up promos that make the most money.
* How to overcome readers' objections in your follow up emails.
* The 2 most common mistakes people make when writing follow-ups and how to avoid them.

VIDEO 10 - HOW TO WRITE BACK END EMAIL PROMOTIONS

Every marketing guru out there says that the REAL money is on the back end. I'd have to agree with them, but the problem is... most people have no idea how to set up a back end system that makes money. This video will teach you how to set up anautomated back end that's loaded with killer promos that make you lots of cash on autopilot.
He reveals things like:

* The big difference between regular and back end email promos.
* How to prepare a back end promotion sequence.
* Common mistakes people make when creating back end email promos.

VIDEO 11 - CREATING AFFILIATE EMAIL PROMOTIONS

This could be the most important video of the entire package for a lot of people, because most people email their list to promote other people's products as an affiliate. Let's face it, if you only have 3 products, can you really afford to only email your list 3 times a year? They'll get bored hearing about the same old products over and over again. This video sheds some light on how to create killer affiliate promos.

Michael reveals things like:

* The two main types of affiliate promos.
* What makes affiliate promos different than regular promos (and why ignoring this huge secret could cost you big money).
* Michael's favorite tactics for creating affiliate promos that no one else is doing.
* 3 different ways to add scarcity to your affiliate promos (this is the most important section of the video, so make sure you watch it over and over again).

*****************************************
CONCLUSION
*****************************************

As you can see, Email Promos Exposed really packs a lot of punch! Most of the courses out thereoffer only watered down, weak content. Not this one! These videos are going on my "A-list" for along time.

I've already watched them twice, and plan on reviewing them every couple months to make sure that I have the principals, techniques and tactics burned into my mind.

If email marketing is an important part of your business (and in my opinion, it's the most important part of ANY online business), then you owe it to yourself to check out Michael's exciting new videos, Email Promos Exposed.

MY WORLD replaces Member Profile on eBay

Do you know that “MY WORLD” pages replace already the old Member Profile pages on eBay?

WOW! eBay launches My Word! This is an updated profile page that enable you to show your personality, interest, hobbies etc by combining many features which already exist on eBay.

My Word pages have been available since the end of September, but now it will replace Member Profile.

To see My Word you must click whenever you see a clickable User ID
or
http://myworld.ebay.com/[userID]

Today I click in my own user id because some feedbacks were added and I wanted to read them, and instead of Member Profile I got My Word. I start to customize a little but I have to think more about it because it is so different and offer so many possibilities! The good news is we can update when we wish the My Word page.
I like it, I really do... because My Profile was rigid and we get only feedback and statistics, now it is an entire world up there!

The eBay team tells us to keep an eye on the My World, a lot of other features will be implemented soon, like Favorite Searches & Sellers, they are still looking to improve the My World with different themes

Stay tuned for more details on these updates, I’ll publish them as soon as they will be public.

To your success

eBay best Match - a new sorting option

eBay Best Match option... available in the next few days!Today is 11/09/2006

It is a new sorting option on eBay for buyers on Search & Browse results.

"Best Match" lets you sort the listings you see based on a concept called relevance.

Best Match is different from other sort options today that sort based on one piece of information, such as "Ending Soonest" or "Lowest Price".

With Best Match, the relevance-based sort option, listings are ranked based on:
  • the item’s title and description
  • the past buyer behavior for similar searches

WOW this is cool and sound like Google!!

Factoring in past buyer behavior means that what buyers do on the site will affect the order in which listings are displayed.

In other words, if buyers running a particular search often end up

  • viewing
  • bidding on
  • buying a certain type of item more often,

this will be factored into eBay relevance calculations. The Best Match scores for these types of items will be higher, and might display higher on the page because they are similar to items that have been more relevant for that search in the past.

NOTE 1: using this sort won’t change which listings are returned, it only changes the order in which listings are presented. No listings will be added or removed when you sort by Best Match.

NOTE 2: eBay Express uses sort on relevance, but eBay Express uses and a different set of factors to determine relevance. In addition, it utilizes buyer data from eBay Express buying activity only, which will differ from eBay.com

NOTE 3: For API users - the "Best Match" sort option includes additions to the eBay unified schema API. The GetSearchResults and GetCategoryListings calls will enable you to specify that the best matches are returned first.

You’ll be able to find this option in the next few days by clicking the drop-down menu next to "Sort by" at the top of the results list.

If you’d like this to become your default sort view for your search results, use the "customize display" link right next to the drop-down.

eBay is working now on another sore option that will let you sort listings by category.

Since next time, be well and enjoy the new feature

Google Update of July 2006

Google Update of July 2006

I know it was a tough week for a lot of AdWords advertisers, provoked by the recent update of Google’s Landing Page Algorithm.

I researched as much as I could and the conclusion is that 4 types of sides are hardest hit:

  • Squeezes pages (the lending pages whose single purpose is to gather an email address in exchange for a free report which not always is really free !)
  • One Page Sales Letter Web Site or Pitch Page
  • Affiliate Web Sites
  • Web Sites build for Google AdSense
Because all of us will be affected by the changes I decide to share with you what I learn about them.

In a nut shall the Google AdWords changes are a

cry loud for – high quality pages!
The changes was created for a noble cause – to improve the web.
It will be good long range but now a lot of people will suffer.

However, to explain the New Landing Page Algorithm I’ll start defining new terms Google created:

  • Quality Score = it is the basis for measuring the quality of your keyword and determining your minimum bid on Google, the quality of your ad’s landing page, and other relevancy factors. (WOW! The devil is in details…)
  • Landing Page = an active Web Page where customers will “land” when they click your ad. The web address for this page is also called a destination URL or clickthrough URL
  • Daily budget = is as always has been, the amount you’re willing to spend on a specific AdWords campaign per day
  • Ad Served Percentage (%) = represents how often an ad has been shown in relation to the rest of the active ads within the same Ad Group
  • Display URL = it is the URL displayed on your ad to identify your site to users (limit 35 char., can be different to the URL your ad links to, but it should be an actual URL that is part of your site)
  • Ad Delivery = how quickly your ads are shown within a specific AdWords campaign each day. When you select a budget for your campaign you can choose: 1) Standard Delivery the ads impressions will be spread across the day, 2) Accelerated Delivery - the adds will be display as often as possible until your budget is reached. For both cases if your budget is set below the system-recommended budget, you ads may not receive all possible impressions.

Now, we all are talking the same language, let’s see what Google’s New Landing Page Algorithm means.

The idea is not a new one, Google announced in December 2005 that they began to implement “The New Landing Page quality score”. What happened in first 2 week of July is just an update of the Algorithm.

What is new now?

In addition to evaluate your keywords and your ads, Google now:

  • Scrutinizes your landing pages
  • Calculate a “Quality score” for every landing page

What is “Quality Score”, in Google Words:

Quality Score is determined by

  • your keyword’s clickthrough rate (CTR) on Google
  • relevance of your ad text
  • "historical keyword performance” on Google

Well, make sense even though “historical keyword performance” looks subjective to me. We don’t know historical keyword performance when we choose them!

The Quality Score measurements makes the advertiser increase relevancy!

But how good, fair, balanced they can be when they determine this Quality Score.

Up till now we already noticed:

  • advertisers whose on line business has been shut down
  • a friend of mine told my that class action suits already exists
  • a general resentment towards what is seen as “un fair” changes exist as well

Let’s not panic and try to overcome by educating ourself about what does Google wants!

The Google point of view is that some advertisers are delivering
"a poor user experience” (which actually means pages with a low Quality Score, those are required to pay much more for their clicks).

Important Note: With other words instead to jump and increase the pay per click we better try to create high quality score pages.

What Google wants to see is:

  • Relevant and substantial content. TIP: in AdWords, link to a page on your site that provides the most useful and accurate information about the product/service in your ad
  • Ensure that your landing page is relevant to your keywords and your ad test
  • Distinguish sponsored links from the rest of your site content. Up till now it was a good practice to make outgoing links blend in with the rest of a page’s content because this is a sure way to get more clicks which translate in more money for you. Well, now Google wants those ads to be clearly marketed as sponsored links
  • Try to provide info without requiring registering, or providing a preview of what users will get by registering. WOW again! Attention squeezes pages authors! If you’ve got a squeeze page, that means that you are going against Google’s guideline! It will be harder now to acquire a big opt in list!
  • Build pages that provide substantial and useful info to users. This means provide additional info beyond what the user may have seen in your ad or on the page prior to clicking on your ad.

With other words Google doesn’t like pages with a lot of ads or pages that have duplicate content – GET ORIGINAL CONTENT!

If you don’t do this:

  • Your position in the Search Engine Results pages will suffer
  • Your cost per click (CPCs) will go up

You should have unique content as well. Up till now using free articles from article directories has been used and abused, it was a great way to build content fast, now you will pay a penalty in your AdWord cost.

In Conclusion, what do we do now?

If your site is affected try to:

  • Update your site or landing page using Google’s guidelines (the points you just read it above), then ask them to re-evaluate your site, call Google at 866.246.6453, ask for a “manual review” of your site, Google will do it, but I don’t know how long will take!
  • Improve your Quality Score(QS) of your landing page.

To improve the QS:

  • Remove all AdSense ads from your landing page
  • Create more original content for your site
  • In your squeeze pages, add more content but without to create a lot of repetition, or move this page to another site you own, a site with good page rank and lots of content because the squeeze page will inherit some of the main domain’s quality score
  • If you have 2-5% keyword density on your landing pages Google will improve your quality score a little
  • Use your keywords in your landing page’s filename. If you are bidding on antiques, make your landing page antiques.html
  • The landing page’s title tag matches the keywords you’ve targeting
  • Use the header tags: H1, H2, H3 and add the keywords you’ve bidding on the those headers
  • It is good to add a few text links on your landing page that use your targeted key words as anchor text

This is all I know; comments will be appreciated and carefully considered.

In a hurry it was easy for me to Blog, but this can be a perfect subject for a eBay Wiki as well, I’ll think about it.

To our success

Create your own Information Product

This is the blue print of creating an Info Product.

Just try to follow the steps:
1. Choose a market or niche where you, with your knowledge, could potentially dominate it.
2. You must poll your target market with a few questions to see what it is they are willing to buy:
  • Create a list of product ideas that you are willing to create. The initial list can be as long as you wish, and then narrow it down to 3-5 ideas
  • Survey as many people as you can to see which product the majority of your market wants. Start to delete from the list the products which don’t have a market. (this is a very important step – have patience with this one!)
Methods to poll are:
  • create a survey with questions in a web site, keep it for 2-3 month
  • create a free report on the topic
  • use Google Adwords to send targeted traffic to the surveyCreate an account at: http://adwords.google.com

3. Create your Info Product

Just my thoughts:

  • create an e-Book or an on-line course, do not create a Book
  • creating a digital Info Product will give you the power of instant recognition
  • a “how to” course is the most wanted selling product because you show people how to solve a “problem” they have

4. Packaging your Info Product

If you create an e-Book or an on-line course, you have it now as an Microsoft Word document.

You must transform this document in an Info Prod, to do so, you need:

5. What if you decide that you personally cannot write the info Product you have in mind.

You can outsource it. The places I recommend are:

6. If you want to get Private Label Rights, get Info from: http://www.PrivateLabelBlog.com

7. If you need a domain, go http://www.godaddy.com (they will give you a domain for just $8.00)

8. Now you have to create your Niche Sales site.

When you do it, please have in mind 3 important Internet advantages that you must use as well:

  • the ability to reach millions of people from you own home
  • the ability to offer automated delivery and instant access to your products
  • the ability to automate your entire sales, advertising and follow-up

To sell on-line, you have to learn how to do:

  • your sales letter
  • your ordering system
  • your backend sales process

The sales letter is the root of your success, I’ll give you some mandatory elements:

  • action – oriented sentences
  • use powerful verbs
  • tell a story
  • good head line
  • bulleted benefits
  • offer money back guaranty
  • offer bonuses for free to get action
  • audio testimonials
  • videos

Ordering System can be:

  • Shopping cards
  • 3dr party processors
  • Your merchant account
  • Form mails

You also need a system which will process Credit Cards in real time.

If you are an eBayer, you have at list Premier PayPay account which will do it for you, if you don't have a PayPal account, sign up for one:

https://www.paypal.com/

In a nut shall, these are all the elements you need.

To your success

Michaela Cernescu

PS Now I’ll fly to Las Vegas to be part of eBay live, in the next blog I’ll share with you news, information from this event.

Do you need a Web Site Presence?

It make sense to have a Web Site, I'll give you 6 Reasons why you really need a Web Presence!

1. A Web Presence gives your business a distinct edge over your local competitors

2. A Web Presence can turn your business in a "feel-good community" Information Resource... and an Information Resource brings more clients and revenue, long term

3. A locally-based service can use its web Site to generate additional income from a "global" audience

4. A Web Presence indicates your consideration of people's busy lifestyle... Because it really is an Information Resource

5. A Web Site is as cheap as can be (less than $30.00 per month) vs all other traditional advertising methods

6. The heavy duty Revenue is always coming from "Multiple Streams of On-line Income"... which you can accomplish with your Web Site

I'll let you sleep on this ideas, and I'll give you 6 good Tips for your future Web Site:

  • the most important factor is the content, I mean reach content of your Web Site because you have to submit your Web Site to engines, and engines will generate a "Rank" for you based on content, how frequent you up-date your Site, the key words you use etc.
  • Don't just SELL, warm your visitors up with a great content that they will value, respect, and come back to you... this means:
  • First sell yourself to the customers, sell first an idea / a concept etc
  • Establish credibility through FREE information
  • Don't forget, there are a lot of sides on the web that just sell what you are selling. the best way to distance youself from the crowd is the info-content you create in your Site
  • Remember... you must build trust and dependability,... it is a tidies process and you carefully have to do some planning in advance

A new research tool you can use for ebay, Google Trends

Hello!
I have discovered a new addition to the Google empire; I like you to look it over.
I think it could make a very useful research eBay tool especially for researching new niches, products and Info products:

http://www.google.com/trends

With Google Trends, you can compare the interest in your topics.
Example: you enter max. 5 topics, the Google Trends will display:
  • how frequently your topics appear in Google News, and

  • which geographic regions have searched for them most often

We already know that you can use for eBay research:

  • Hammertap's latest release of Deep Analysis
  • Andale
  • Terapeak
  • Overture

My preferences will remain at this point Hammertap’s Deep Analysis, but Google statistical information is reliable and this tool has a lot of potential.
I like you to know about it and try the Google Trends as well.

I think Google Trends must be used in a preliminary analysis for a niche and continued with Hammertap’s Deep Analysis.

To your Success Michaela

eBay up-to-date

Do you know?: Hammertap's latest release...
With Hammertap's latest release of Deep Analysis they now have the most powerful eBay research tool.
Just my opinion, it is better then Andale and Terapeak.
They are offering a one-month trial subscription for $1.00, YES just a buck! Give it a try! You'll decide after one month if you want to keep it or not.
I'll do the same, and let you know my opinion.

Do you know?: The most Frequent reasons why an eBay business fail:
1. Poor Feedback Rating
Building an eBay business is in many ways similar to building any business.
To be successful you need: Good Marketing, Sales, Products, Pricing, and Perfect Customer Service.
You must know that selling on eBay has some unique features that differ from traditional retail businesses.
On eBay, a seller's Feedback Rating represent the customer service reputation and is out in the open for everyone to see.
Negative feedback is the number one reason eBay sellers fail.
You have to work hard to aquire feedbacks and you have to work even harder to turn conflicts in positive Feedbacks. Sometimes you just have to be very diplomatic and remember, as the seller, you have the most to lose by negative feedback.
Poor communications between buyer and seller is the leading cause of negative feedback
2. Bad Price Strategy is a prescription for disaster
You must pay attention to the costs involved in selling. Before deciding whether to sell an item on eBay, and what to sell it for, you need to understand all the costs involved, and add them up!
Many businesses fail because they are either under financed, or because they do not understand their costs. A program such as Quick Books is your best investment. It will allow you to track every expense, and allocate the costs to different categories so you will fully understand where every dollar is going down to the penny, and if it was well spent.
3. Turns Away Bidders not Accepting Credit Cards
Setting up a merchant credit card account is expensive, it can cost between $195 to $425 in set-up fees and anywhere from 2.5% to 7.5% per transaction.
Paypal offers an elegant solution (http://www.paypal.com). There are no set-up fees and transaction costs are 2.2% or less. Make a note: some buyers don't know what Paypal is, or how it works. Place a PayPal logo on all your auctions and a link to PayPal in emails to your successful bidders.
In your auction, place a line of text above the PayPal logo that says: "To pay with a credit card, click on the PayPal logo below." Do the same in your email to winning bidders. Then place your PayPal referral link after your signature.
If you have a web site (most successful auction sellers do), instead of setting up a merchant credit card account, you can now use PayPal's WebAccept to take credit card orders on your web site. Connect to PayPal's "Web Tools" link, and type in the product, pricing and shipping info. Then copy/paste the html code onto your web page. You now have a credit card shopping cart for each individual product.
4. You are Loseing Bids with poor Headlines and Auction Descriptions
Over 80% of bidders find the item they are looking for by using the "Search" feature. Unless you use the key words bidders are looking for, you will miss many bids, those key words must be in your headlines!
Your headline should also include "emotional" words designed to attract a bidder's attention: new, rare, unique, secret, unbelievable, super-value, etc. There are other adjectives that work well in headlines such as: exquisite, charming, wonderful, mint, excellent, clean, superb, etc. Just be sure you are 100% accurate.
5. Poor Images Can Turn Off Sellers as well
"A picture is worth a thousand words" is never more true than with on-line auctions.
Not having a photo of your item will definitely reduce your bids, and lead to unsuccessful or unprofitable auctions.
It you have a photo, the photo must be accurate and revealing.
It is not really necessary to be a professional photographer.
I'll give you some tips for good photos:
5.1. If the size of an object is not obvious, use a reference, I offen keep the item on my hand in one of my pictures
5.2. Show any flaws or defects, Point them out in the description as well
5.3. Don't use a flash, it causes reflections
5.4. Take your photos in open shade or using indirect light, the majority of sellers improvize a photo lab. at home
5.5. Do not use "stock" photos from a brochure. Bidders want to see a picture of the actual item they are bidding on
5.6. Use a tripod to make sure your shot is sharp, especially for close ups of labels
5.7. Keep your photos to less than 400 pixels. Larger photos take too long to load. The "e-mail" setting on most digital cameras works just fine for most auctions
5.8. Don't use scanners use a digital camera
5.9. I use to take more then just one photo, but you have to find a way to avoid a lot of fees. My technique is: I use a picture with eBay pictures system ( the first picture is free), the rest of pictures I put them in my description, as part of the description. It works now!
6. ... and so on ...

Sincerely yours
Michaela
